STATE DEPARTMENT ALSO CONDEMNS ATTACK ON SERBIAN POLICE

(Washington, August 6)  We condemn the attack late August 3 on Serbian police in the town of Muhovac in southern Serbia.  We express our condolences to the families of the policemen who were killed or wounded.  Such violence undermines the progress in reconciliation that has been achieved in the region during the past several months.

We welcome the professional investigation into this tragic incident conducted by the Joint Security Forces and urge that they bring the perpetrators to justice.

STEJT DEPARTMENT TAKOĐE OSUĐUJE NAPAD NA SRPSKU POLICIJU

(Vašington, 6. avgust)  Osuđujemo napad na srpsku policiju izvršen 3. avgusta u mestu Muhovac u južnoj Srbiji.  Stejt department izražava žaljenje porodicama poginulih i ranjenih policajaca.  Takvi napadi podrivaju dalje napredovanje procesa pomirenja ostvarenog tokom poslednjih nekoliko meseci u tom regionu.      

Pozdravljamo istragu koju su povodom ovog tragičnog događaja profesionalno izvršile Združene snage bezbednosti i zalažemo se da se počinioci zločina što pre privedu pravdi.
