of America Dr. Lynne Germain Montgomery to Participate in Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Completion Ceremony in Veternik On Friday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Lynne Germain Montgomery will participate in a ceremony to mark the completion of renovations of the Handicapped Children Center and the Mental Health Center at the Disabled Children and Youth Home Veternik (Kninska 157, Veternik). Funding for the renovations amounted to approximately $195,000 and was provided by the U.S. Department of Defense through its European Command in Stuttgart, Germany as part of its Humanitarian Assistance Program. Work began on July 8, 2003. The renovations include living quarters for 80 severely handicapped children, a new luncheon room, new bathrooms and boilers, re-sized and safer windows and doors, plumbing and sewage repairs, new lighting and electrical wiring, new painting and replacement of floor and wall tiles. Ambasada Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Dr. Lin DŽermejn Montgomeri učestvuje u predstavljanju završetka programa pomoći Ministarstva odbrane SAD u Veterniku U petak, 24. oktobra u 14:00 časova, Dr. Lin Džermejn Montgomeri učestvovaće na svečanosti povodom završetka renoviranja Centra za hendikepiranu decu i Centra za mentalno zdravlje u Domu za decu i omladinu ometenu u razvoju Veternik (Kninska 157, Veternik). Finansiranje projekta, procenjenog na 195,000 dolara, obezbedilo je Ministarstvo odbrane SAD preko Evropske komande u Štutgartu, Nemačka, kao deo Programa humanitarne pomoći. Radovi su započeli 8. jula 2003. godine. Renoviranje je obuhvatilo dnevne boravke 80 teško hendikepirane dece, novu trpezariju, nova kupatila i bojlere, popravku prozora i vrata, popravku vodovodnog i kanalizacionog sistema, električnih instalacija i rasvete, krečenje i zamenu podnih i zidnih pločica.
