U.S. Embassy and the Department of Justice Conduct Human Trafficking Task Force Workshop
to Combat Human Trafficking

A one-day intensive workshop focusing on the Formation of a Joint Regional and International Task Forces to combat Human Trafficking, was organized and funded by the U.S. Department of Justice' Office of Overseas Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) and the U.S. Embassy’s Resident Legal Advisor. The workshop, which was held, for Serbia's Organized Crime Police, local and regional police, Serbian prosecutors, members of the judiciary and officials from the Financial Intelligence Unit took place at the Hotel Radmilovac on December 3, 2004.

The one-day workshop featured distinguished presenters from the U.S. Department of Justice Resident Legal Advisor Office both from Belgrade and Sarajevo, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Resident South Eastern European Cooperative Initiative (SECI) Anti-Trafficking Advisor, and Serbian magistrate judges and prosecutors. The workshop focused on investigative problem solving and the use of local and international task forces to combat human trafficking.

AMERIČKA AMBASADA I MINISTARSTVO PRAVDE SAD ORGANIZUJU SEMINAR «BORBA PROTIV TRGOVINE LJUDIMA PUTEM FORMIRANJA OPERATIVNOG TIMA “TASK FORCE”

Jednodnevni intenzivni seminar koji se bavi formiranjem nacionalnih i međunarodnih operativnih timova za borbu protiv trgovine ljudima, organizovan je i finansiran od strane Ministarstva Pravde Sjedinjenih Americkih Drzava, Kancelarije za međunarodnu pomoć i obuku (OPDAT) i Kancelarije pravnog savetnika pri Ambasadi SAD. Radionica koja je organizovana za policiju, tužioce, sudije i službenike jedinica finansijske policije Srbije održava se u hotelu Radmilovac 3. decembra 2004.

Na ovom seminaru obratiće se ugledni predavači iz Ministarstva pravde SAD, kancelarije pravnog savetnika iz Beograda i Sarajeva, Savetnik za borbu protiv trgovine ljudima, Inicijative za Saradnju Jugoistočne Evrope (SECI), Saveznog Istražnog Biroa (FBI), kao i sudije za prekršaje i tužioci iz Srbije. Seminar se bavi rešavanjem problema u istrazi i koriscenjem domaćih i međunarodnih operativnih timova u borbi protiv trgovine ljudima.
