The Embassy of the United States Welcomes the Extradition of Dragomir Milosevic to the Hague

The Embassy of the United States welcomes the transfer of war crimes indictee Dragomir Milosevic to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

Mr. Milosevic’s indictment, unsealed in November 2001, accuses him of participating as Commander of the Romanija Corps in the siege of Sarajevo, including the repeated shelling of the city and numerous sniper attacks against civilians.

The Embassy of the United States calls on the Government of Serbia to continue all efforts to assure that Ratko Mladic and all other remaining indictees are brought to The Hague without any further delay.

AMBASADA SJEDINJENIH DRŽAVA POZDRAVLJA IZRUČENJE DRAGOMIRA MILOŠEVIĆA HAGU

Ambasada Sjedinjenih Država pozdravlja izručenje optuženog za ratne zločine Dragomira Miloševića Međunarodnom krivičnom sudu za bivšu Jugoslaviju u Hagu.

Optužnica objavljena novembra 2001. godine tereti ga za učešće u opsadi Sarajeva u svojstvu Komandanta romanijskog korpusa, uključujući brojna artiljerijska gađanja grada i brojne snajperske napade protiv civilnog stanovništva.

Ambasada Sjedinjenih Država poziva Vladu Srbije da nastavi sa naporima kako bi Ratko Mladić i svi ostali optuženi za ratne zločine bili što pre izručeni Hagu.
