Defense Seminar on " Planning, Programming and Budgeting System"

The Embassy of the United States in Belgrade and the U.S. European Command (EUCOM), in cooperation with Serbia and Montenegro's Ministry of Defense, will hold a two-day seminar on the U.S. Defense Planning, Programming and Budgeting System from March 23-24 in Belgrade.

The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize participants from the Ministry of Defense and General Staff officers with the process used by the Department of Defense to develop and manage budgets. The objective is to share information and gain greater management level insight into defense planning, programming and budgeting. The topics will cover the dimensions of the military financial management process, such as organization, objectives, and control.

Participants in the seminar will be from the Ministry of Defense, Serbia and Montenegro's military units, Serbia's Ministry of Finance, and other government institutions involved with defense resource management.

Press interested in covering the opening of the seminar should be at Topcider barracks, Gardijska 1, Belgrade, no later than 08:30 AM on March 23.

Seminar Odbrane " Sistem planiranja, programiranja i budžetiranja"

Ambasada SAD u Beogradu i Evropska komanda snaga SAD (EUCOM) u saradnji sa Ministarstvom odbrane SCG organizuju dvodnevni seminar o Sistemu planiranja, programiranja i budžetiranja odbrane SAD 23. i 24. marta u Beogradu.

Svrha seminara je upoznavanje pripadnika Ministarstva odbrane i Generalštaba SCG sa procesom koji koristi Ministarstvo odbrane SAD prilikom određivanja svojih budžeta. Cilj je razmena informacija i sticanje većeg uvida u rukovodeći nivo planiranja, programiranja i budžetiranja odbrane. Teme će pokriti oblasti iz vojnog finansijskog upravnog procesa, kao što su organizacija, ciljevi i kontrola.

Učesnici seminara su predstavnici Ministarstva odbrane, oficiri Vojske Srbije i Crne Gore, predstavnici Ministarstva finansija Srbije i ostalih Vladinih institucija koje su uključene u upravljanje resursima odbrane.

Zainteresovani predstavnici medija treba da dođu 23. marta u kasarnu Topčider, Gardijska 1, u Beogradu najkasnije do 08:30.
