Ambassador Polt Briefs Journalists on Security Treaties at the Atlantic Council in Belgrade

On August 11, Ambassador Michael C. Polt, along with the Norwegian and Slovak Ambassadors, briefed representatives of all major print and electronic media on the various security treaties SaM has signed with NATO and is negotiating with the U.S. The event was hosted by SaM's Atlantic Council which has been very active in promoting PfP and NATO and of SaM's joining Euro-Atlantic integrations. Ambassador Polt answered numerous questions, and by emphasizing the benefits of the treaties for Serbia, succeeded to demystify the process and the issues.
