Ambassador Polt to Discuss Current Issues on International Relations at the Novi Pazar Gymnasium, Medresa and to Visit Altun Alem Mosque and Sopocani Monastery

In the course of his September 29 visit to Novi Pazar, U.S. Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro Michael C. Polt will discuss current issues in international relations with students from Medresa (Islamic High School), Novi Pazar Gymnasium and representatives from NGO "Urban-In" at the Novi Pazar Gymnasium. The discussion will provide an opportunity for Ambassador Polt to hear the views and concerns of young people in southern Serbia as well as to stress the commitment of the United States Government to assisting economic development in Serbia and cooperation among all ethnic and religious groups.

There will be an opportunity for photo-reporters to take photographs at the Novi Pazar Gymnasium at the conclusion of the discussion and to accompany the Ambassador when he talks to students at Medresa and as he visits the Altun Alem Mosque.

During the visit Ambassador Polt will also visit Sopocani Monastery.

AMBASADOR POLT DISKUTOVAĆE O TEKUĆIM PITANJIMA U MEĐUNARODNIM ODNOSIMA U GIMNAZIJI U NOVOM PAZARU I MEDRESI A POSETIĆE I DZAMIJU ALTUN ALEM I MANASTIR SOPOĆANI

Tokom posete Novom Pazaru 29. septembra, američki Ambasador Majkl K. Polt u Srbiji Crnoj Gori, razgovaraće o tekućim pitanjima u međunarodnim odnosima sa studentima Medrese (islamska srednja škola), sa novopazarskim gimnazijalcima kao i sa predstavnicima nevladine organizacije Urban-In u zgradi gimnazije. Taj razgovor omogućiće Ambasadoru Poltu da sazna gledišta i probleme mladih ljudi u južnoj Srbiji kao i da naglasi rešenost vlade Sjedinjenih Država da pomogne ekonomski razvoj u Srbiji i saradnju među svim etničkim i verskim grupama.

Reporterima će biti omogućeno da snimaju događaj u novopazarskoj gimnaziji po završetku razgovora, da prate Ambasadora tokom njegovog razgovora sa studentima u Medresi, kao i njegovu posetu džamiji Altun Alem.

Tokom posete ambasador Polt će takođe posetiti i manastir Sopoćani.
