Ambassador Michael C. Polt Talks to Student Radio in Belgrade
On Tuesday, November 15, Ambassador Polt visited Radio BU (Belgrade University)
at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. The Ambassador met with students
and professors of the Department of Journalism, and the Dean of the Faculty
of Political Sciences, and gave an interview on current political issues to
one of the Journalism students.
Radio BU provides entertainment, news and student-related information to
the students of the University of Belgrade. BU Radio was founded through the
cooperation of the Embassy and the Department of Journalism of the Faculty
of Political Science. Continued Embassy support for BU Radio helps to improve
the quality of media studies in Serbia and Montenegro, and will contribute
to the development of an objective and professional media in Serbia and Montenegro.
