U.S. Embassy Belgrade Announces a Redesign of its Official Website

The U.S. Embassy Belgrade will introduce a newly redesigned website on July 1st. The redesign was inspired by a Department of State initiative to bring consistency to the look of U.S. Embassy websites worldwide. The new design, which includes numerous aesthetic and navigational improvements and expanded content, is intended to facilitate user access to the wealth of resources offered on the site. The Embassy's web address has not changed. It remains: http://belgrade.usembassy.gov

The Embassy's website is a key resource for citizens of Serbia and Montenegro who are looking for information on anything related to the U.S., whether through its own sources or links to other sites. The site contains information on how to obtain a visa, including online visa application forms; job opportunities at the Embassy; Embassy programs and events; news relevant to the bilateral relationship; resources for U.S. citizens, and more.

Of particular interest is a new section entitled "The U.S. Partnership for Progress with Serbia and Montenegro". This section provides visitors with information on the many ways the U.S. government is working hand in hand with Serbia and Montenegro to build a more prosperous future for its citizens -- from assistance projects to promoting foreign direct investment and creating jobs to protecting Serbia and Montenegro's rich cultural heritage.

The site includes a new search capability which allows users to quickly find information from our archives, as well as a "contact us" section that will allow visitors to send email messages to the Embassy.

AMERIČKA AMBASADA U BEOGRADU PREDSTAVLJA ZVANIČNU REDIZAJNIRANU INTERNET PREZENTACIJU

Ambasada SAD u Beogradu od 1. jula uvodi u upotrebu novu redizajniranu internet prezentaciju. Novi dizajn inspirisan je incijativom Stejt Dipartmenta u cilju veće konzistentnosti izgleda internet stranica američkih ambasada širom sveta. Novi dizajn, koji uključuje brojna estetska i navigaciona poboljšanja i prošireni sadržaj, treba da omogući korisnicima efikasan pristup obilju informacija na internet strani. Internet strana ambasade je ključni izvor za građane Srbije i Crne Gore koji traže informacije u vezi Sjedinjenih Džava kroz sadržaj ponuđen na prezentaciji ambasade ili preko linkova ka drugim internet stranama. Internet strana pruža informacije o procesu izdavanja viza uključujući pristup formularima; otvorenim konkursima za radna mesta u ambasadi; programima i javnim događanjima u organizaciji ambasade; vestima u vezi bilateralne saradnje; relevantnim izvorima za američke građane itd.

Posebno naglašavamo uvođenje nove sekcije "Partnerstvo Sjedinjenih Država za progres sa Srbijom i Crnom Gorom" ("The U.S. Partnership for Progress with Serbia and Montenegro"). Ova sekcija pružiće posetiocima informacije o brojnim projektima koje vlada SAD sprovodi u bliskoj saradnji sa Srbijom i Crnom Gorom u cilju ostvarenja prosperitetnije budućnosti za njene građane -- od projekata pomoći i promovisanja direktnih stranih investicija i otvaranja novih radnih mesta, do projekata zaštite bogatog kulturnog nasleđa Srbije i Crne Gore.

Internet strana pruža nove mogućnosti za pretraživanje koji će obezbediti korisnicima brzo pronalaženje željene informacije, kao i mogućnost kontaktiranja ambasade putem elektronske pošte.
