Lieutenant General Steven Blum, Chief, National Guard Bureau, Visits Serbia

United States Chief National Guard Bureau Lieutenant General Steven Blum, will arrive in Belgrade today for a two-day visit. He will meet with military leaders to facilitate the first State Partnership Program event between Serbia and Ohio.

Lieutenant General Blum will have meetings with Defense Minister Zoran Stankovic and the Acting Chief of of General Staff, Major General Zdravko Ponos. He will also visit the Military Academy, Military Medical Academy, and observe troops in the newly formed Special Brigade in Pancevo.

Lieutenant General Blum is the first Chief, National Guard Bureau to come to Serbia. His visit underscores the importance of the newly established State Partnership Program between the state of Ohio and Serbia.

General-potpukovnik Stiven Blam, načelnik Biroa Nacionalne garde u poseti Srbiji

Načelnik Biroa Nacionalne garde SAD general-potpukovnik Stiven Blam stiže danas u dvodnevnu posetu Beogradu. On će se sastati sa vojnim rukovodstvom u cilju realizacije početnih aktivnosti Programa državnog partnerstva izmeđju Srbije i države Ohajo.

General-potpukovnik Blam susrešće se sa ministrom odbrane Zoranom Stankovićem i zastupnikom načelnika Generalštaba general-majorem Zdravkom Ponošem. On će takođe posetiti Vojnu akademiju, Vojnomedicinsku akademiju i jedinicu novoformirane Specijalne brigade u Pančevu.

General-potpukovnik Blam je prvi načelnik Biroa Nacionalne garde koji dolazi u Srbiju. Njegova poseta podvlači značaj novouspostavljenog Programa državnog partnerstva između države Ohajo i Srbije.
