Ambassador Munter Visits Subotica

U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Cameron Munter will travel to Subotica on October 12. This will be the Ambassador’s first trip to the city.

Ambassador Munter will meet with the Mayor of Subotica, visit the Office of Citizen Assistance at City Hall, one of the many projects funded by USAID in the region and together with the Mayor participate in the celebration of the American Corner's first anniversary. The celebration will be followed by the opening of the traveling exhibit "125th Anniversary of U.S.-Serbian Diplomatic Relations" at the main entrance hall of the City Hall.

Ambassador Munter is pleased to have the opportunity to visit the city and looks forward to continued cooperation between the U.S. and the people of Subotica.

Journalists interested in covering the celebration at the American Corner are kindly asked to be in front of the building at 15:30 (Cara Dusana 2, Subotica), and for the exhibit opening in front of the City Hall at 16:10 (Trg slobode 1, Subotica).

Ambasador Manter u poseti Subotici

Ambasador SAD u Srbiji Kameron Manter će posetiti Suboticu 12. oktobra. Ovo će biti ambasadorova prva poseta Subotici.

Ambasador Manter će se susresti sa predsednikom opštine Subotica, posetiće Kancelariju za pružanje pomoći građanima u Skupštini grada, zatim jedan od više projekata koje je finansirao USAID u regionu i zajedno sa predsednikom opštine će učestvovati u proslavi prve godišnjice postojanja Američkog kutka. Nakon proslave u kutku, ambasador Manter i predsednik opštine će otvoriti izložbu "125 godina diplomatskih odnosa između SAD i Srbije" u glavnom holu Skupštine grada.

Ambasador Manter izražava zadovoljstvo što ima priliku da poseti Suboticu i raduje se nastavku saradnje između SAD i građana Subotice.

Novinari zainteresovani da izveštavaju sa proslave u Američkom kutku treba da budu ispred Kutka u 15:40 (Cara Dušana 2, Subotica), a sa otvaranja izložbe ispred Skupštine grada u 16:25 (Trg Slobode 1, Subotica).
