Ambassador Munter Visits U.S. Steel

Ambassador Munter visited U.S. Steel's Smederevo facility on November 20 to see the work of Serbia 's largest exporter first hand.

The new General Director of U.S. Steel Serbia, Richard Vietch, briefed the Ambassador on U.S. Steel's work since 2003 to renovate and improve the Smederevo facility and its capacity to supply world-class steel products to the Serbian and global markets. The Ambassador thanked U.S. Steel and its employees for their contributions and noted the high standards in quality, ethical business practices, and worker safety that the firm has brought to Serbia.

U.S. Steel is an example of the important role that U.S. investors can play in strengthening the partnership between Serbia and the United States.

Ambasador Manter posetio Ju Es Stil

Ambasador Manter je posetio Ju Es Stil u Smederevu 20. novembra kako bi se lično upoznao sa radom najvećeg izvoznika u Srbiji.

Novi generalni direktor Ju Es Stila u Srbiji, Ričard Vič, je ukratko predstavio rad Ju Es Stila od 2003. godine na obnavljanju i unapređenju železare u Smederevu kao i kapaciteta za snadbevanje tržišta u Srbiji i u svetu sa visoko kvalitetnim proizvodima od čelika. Ambasador se zahvalio Ju Es Stilu i zaposlenima za njihov doprinos, primetivši visoke standarde u kvalitetu, radnoj etici i zaštiti na radu koje je ova kompanije donela u Srbiju.

Ju ES Stil je primer važne uloge koju investitori iz SAD imaju u jačanju partnerstva između Srbije i Sjedinjenih Država.
