In addition, applicants for tourist visas must demonstrate that

  • They have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties which will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.
  • The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for pleasure;
  • That they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;
  • Evidence of funds to cover expenses in the United States;

University students are strongly encouraged to bring proof of their university attendance. This includes a student identification card, Indeks and transcript.

Please bring your expired passports for review.

Approved visas require one day for processing. Visa recipients can pick up their passport with visa at 16:00 the next business day after the day of their interview, unless otherwise notified.
