Ambassador Munter Meets with A-SMYLE Alumni

On March 28, 2008, U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Cameron Munter met with 25 A-SMYLE (American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange) alumni during their monthly alumni meeting, organized and held by American Councils in Serbia. For over an hour, Ambassador Munter discussed problems of community engagement, listened to ideas and possible solutions proposed by the students, and stressed the importance of youth activism. Several students currently engaged in planning community projects invited the Ambassador to come and visit them in their hometowns once their projects are underway.

Susret ambasadora Mantera sa učesnicima A-SMYLE programa

Ambasador Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Kameron Manter posetio je grupu od 25 srednjoškolaca , učesnika A-SMYLE programa razmene đaka, prilikom njihovog mesečnog okupljanja u prostorijama Američkog saveta u Beogradu. Ambasador Manter je u razgovoru sa srednjoškolcima proveo više od sat vremena, razgovarajući o problemima angažovanja u lokalnim zajednicama, slušajući njihove ideje i moguća rešenja, i naglasio značaj omladinskog aktivizma. Srednjoškolci koji su već uključeni u planiranje projekata od lokalnog značaja pozvalo je ambasadora da ih poseti u njihovim gradovima kada krene realizacija projekata.
